Technical Support & Guides

Step-by-step setup guides, performance troubleshooting, and direct developer support to ensure your virtual hangar operates flawlessly.

Engineering Robust Experiences

Flight simulation environments are dynamic. Frequent platform updates can occasionally disrupt third-party meshes, navigational data, or aircraft utilities. Our dedicated resolution team is here to ensure your virtual aviation remains uninterrupted.

The Cloudforge Simulations support infrastructure is designed to provide clear, actionable solutions. Whether you are experiencing frame rate drops over dense urban scenery or need help mapping custom cockpit controls, our documentation and direct channels are at your disposal.

Standard Installation Workflow

Following the correct directory placement ensures your simulator properly indexes new terrain meshes and high-resolution textures without causing load sequence errors.

Add-on folder structure and file extraction
01

Package Extraction

Download your product archive securely. Extract the contents using a standard compression tool. Ensure the internal folder structure remains intact before moving any files to avoid missing textures.

02

Directory Placement

Locate your simulator's primary community or add-on folder. Move the extracted product folder directly into this directory. Avoid nesting folders unnecessarily, as the simulator engine only scans the first level.

03

Initialization & Indexing

Launch the simulator. The platform will automatically scan and rebuild the scenery index. Depending on the size of the mesh and texture data, this initial load sequence may take slightly longer than usual.

Direct Developer Assistance

Submit your telemetry data and issue description directly to our engineering team. We aim to respond to all technical inquiries within 48 hours.

Frequently Resolved Inquiries

Terrain Elevation Conflicts

If airport runways appear sunken or floating, ensure no other mesh add-ons are active for the same region. Adjusting the scenery library load order often resolves this overlap.

Texture Popping

Delayed texture loading is typically related to storage read speeds. We recommend installing our high-resolution packs on an NVMe SSD and increasing your simulator's rolling cache limit.

Missing Navigational Aids

Our scenery updates align with recent AIRAC cycles. If ILS or VOR frequencies are missing, update your navigational database via your preferred subscription service to match the new terrain.

Version Compatibility

All current releases are compiled for the latest stable simulator build. Beta branch users may experience instability until the final platform update is officially released.

License Activation

If your utility add-on requests reactivation, ensure your firewall is not blocking the authentication module. Your serial key can be reset via the customer portal if hardware changes occur.

Custom Liveries

Aircraft add-ons support custom community liveries. Place the livery folder directly in the community directory; do not overwrite default texture files within the main aircraft package.
